Disney to launch High School Musical 3s singalong versionNovember 5th, 2008 - 2:45 pm ICT by ANI
New Delhi, Nov 5 (ANI): Fans will again be rushing to cinema halls, as Walt Disney Pictures is set to launch a sing along version of hit movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Just two weeks after the movie release, Disney is launching the singalong version on November 7 at 125 movie theatres in the United States.
The decision pretty evidently is based on the recent success of musicals like Hairspray and Mamma Mia!, reports China Daily.
“We felt that the (”High School Musical 3”) movie’’s huge base of enthusiastic fans would really embrace a singalong version,” President of Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, Mark Zoradi said.
The sing along version to the flick is historical in itself, as it is the 1 st time Walt Disney has released a sing along version of any flick.
The High School Musical: Senior Year 3 has already earned 146 million dollars at the worldwide box office. (ANI)
