Lahore, Nov 19 (ANI): Pakistan batsman Younis Khan has said that Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was continuously succeeding in all forms of cricket because presently lady luck was smiling on him, and that his real mettle would be tested once luck runs out for him.

Dhonis success as Indian captain was a combination of some skill and loads of good fortune, he said.

Younis, who returned with the Pakistan team from Abu Dhabi Monday night, said Dhoni had been very lucky as captain so far. But I would like to see how he fares and handles the pressure when the luck runs out. That will be his real test, the Daily Times quoted him as saying while talking to reporters on his return from Abu Dhabi.

He stated that Dhoni had been very lucky so far in everything that he had done. But in cricket one also has to be prepared to face hard situations when luck does not seem to smile on a player at all, he maintained.

Younis, who is Pakistans top batsman in 21 ODIs this year, scoring 865 runs at an average of 54.06, also urged the PCB to give Shoaib Malik more time as captain. From what I have observed, Malik is learning the skills of captaincy with every match and he is a good learner, Younis said and added: I would suggest that the PCB give him time and I can see Malik leading the team for the next few years without any major issues.
