It is a matter of pride, not only for the people of Ladakh but for the entire people of India,” said Lama Chosphel Zotpa, President, Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association (HBCA), New Delhi.
Among those who undertake a rigorous study and practice of Mahayana Buddhism at different levels and stages for about 35 to 40 years, only the fortunate ones reach to the great seat of Gaden Tri, the supreme head of Gelukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. (ANI)
