Delhi school bus catches fire; children safe
November 26th, 2009 - 12:19 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus carrying students of the Evergreen School caught fire this morning after a blast in its fuel tank.
The bus caught fire near Dharamshila hospital in East Delhi.
There were around 50 kids inside the bus when it caught fire. All the children are reported to be safe.
The driver and the conductor of the bus got severe burns and have been admitted in the Dharamshila hospital.
Evergreen School is in Vasundhara Enclave in east Delhi.
The Headmistress of the school said such types of misfortunes should never occur again. Some students who were inside the bus are in a shock, she added. (ANI)
