New Delhi, Mar 1 (ANI): Delhi Police on Tuesday stopped Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who is facing probe in a money laundering case, from boarding a flight to Srinagar.

Separatist veteran Geelani, who had been given the notice last month, was served a fresh notice last night.

The police stopped Geelani at the Delhi airport and later took him to the Lodhi road police station for questioning in connection with his hawala links.

Geelani was earlier asked for a convenient date and time to meet an officer investigating a hawala case in which the Delhi police recently held his close aide Ghulam Muhammad Bhat and two others. (ANI)
