Delhi police announces reward of Rs 50,000 on missing Pakistani terrorists
January 3rd, 2010 - 3:16 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Jan 3 (ANI): The Delhi Police on Sunday announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for anybody giving information on the three Pakistani terrorists, who managed to flee while being taken to Gurunanak Eye Hospital in the city.The police have also released the photographs of the three absconding Pakistani terrorists for identification.
The three terrorists Abdul Razzak, Mohammed Sadiq and Rafaqat Ali arrested nine years ago in connection with blasts near the Red Fort were to be deported to Pakistan as they had completed their jail term.
Their escape has left the Delhi police authorities red-faced, compelling them to issue an alert without any delay in New Delhi and the other neighbouring areas.
“We have announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each for providing information on the three Pakistanis. We have also released their pictures,” said a senior police official.
The Meghalaya police personnel who were on deputation to the Special Branch of Delhi police, were taking the three terrorists to Gurunanak Eye Hospital from where they managed to escape.
The Delhi police have registered a fresh case against the trio for violating the restraint order under the Foreigners’ Act. (ANI)
