Delhi CM not satisfied with Commonwealth Games preparations

New Delhi, Feb. 1 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has said that she is not totally satisfied with the Commonwealth Games” preparations, and added that she is not nervous as things would be in place before the mega sporting event next year.
She claimed that funds would not be any problem in prestigious sporting events preparations.
There are some (projects) which are, you know, beyond the schedule. I would not say that I am totally satisfied, but I would not say that I am nervous, she admitted in a press interview, when questioned whether slow progress wasn”t causing any anxiety.
She maintained that everyone involved in the preparation were giving their best, as it was a question of nations prestige. I think everybody is trying to do their best. It’’s about India’’s prestige, Dikshit said.
A number of Commonwealth Games projects are running behind the deadline. They include construction of stadia and hotels.
When the Delhi CM was questioned, whether preparations would be completed before the event, Dikshit assured, All things would be in place before the games. (ANI)
