London, May 24 (ANI): David Beckhams oomph factor has left people spellbound not just in Britain, but in America as well. The soccer star has been voted the top Man Candy in America in a new poll.

The former England captain beat actors Ashton Kutcher, 30, Jesse Metcalfe, 29, and Ryan Phillippe, 33, to the No 1 spot in the American version of OK! magazines poll.

However, Becks wasnt the only Brit among the top 50 of worlds sexiest men - X Factor and American Idol judge Simon Cowell, 48, was ranked 25th.

James Bond star Daniel Craig, 40, came in at No 36, and Irish-born Bond legend Pierce Brosnan, 55, landed the eleventh spot.

According to OK! insiders, topping the sex poll showed the England midfielder had arrived in the American consciousness.
