Dharamsala, Aug 31 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will be discharged from the hospital in Mumbai on Monday said Tibetan government-in-exile today.
Dalai Lama was taken to a hospital in Mumbai on Thursday after he complained of exhaustion.
The Dalai Lama cancelled all his engagements for the next three weeks to undergo medical check-up and take rest.
According to the information which I have received, he will be discharged on Monday from Leelavati hospital. His health is fine and he will be getting discharged, said Karma Yeshi, Tibetan Parliamentarian-in-exile in Dharamsala on Sunday.
Meanwhile Tibetans in Dharamsala continued their prayers for the speedy recovery of their spiritual leader.
The 73-year-old, Nobel Peace Prize winner spends several months of the year away from Dharamsala, delivering religious lectures and speaking about what he calls the suffering of Tibetan people under Chinese rule. (ANI)
