Dalai Lama says violence and terror have no room in globalized world
March 6th, 2009 - 2:06 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Mar. 6 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has said that there is no scope for force, violence or terror for resolution of any issue in this globalize world. He stressed on the need of initiating dialogue for addressing disagreements or dissatisfaction of any particular group of people to attain a peaceful solution. Inaugurating the India Today Conclave titled, Challanges of Change, he warned that violence and terror bring only disaster and destruction to humanity, and called for compassion, tolerance and human brother hood across the globe. Lama cautioned, if steps were not taken with speed for a peaceful world, the advantages of modern technology might cost dearly to the humanity. External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee is expected to address the conclave later in the day The conclave is being addressed by a number of leaders across the world apart from policy experts and diplomats and academicians.
