New Delhi July 12, (ANI): The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) is likely announce it’s with a decision today on the infighting in its Kerala unit.

The two-day meet that began on Saturday, is discussing the fate of Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan and party’s state unit secretary, Pinarayi Vijayan, who are targeting each other.

The politburo, which met on July 4, and 5, had failed to arrive at a conclusion on the issue and decided to refer the matter to the party’s central committee.

The politburo, which met on Saturday, gave a final touch to its proposals on the issue.
According to sources, the Central Committee is likely to take disciplinary actions against both leaders. Achuthanandan is likely to be told to quit the politburo, and Vijayan might quit as the party’s state unit secretary.

In the wake of Viajyan’s exit politburo member S.Ramachandran Pillai is likely to takeover as the state unit secretary. (ANI)
