CPI (M) wants New Delhi to mount international pressure on Pakistan

Kolkata, Dec 29 (ANI): Communist Party of India (Marxists) politburo member Sitaram Yechury has urged New Delhi to mobilize international support to put pressure on Pakistan to combat terrorism.
“What we are trying to urge is that the government in such a situation must mobilise maximum international support to put pressure on Pakistan,” Yechury said on Sunday.
India, the United States and Britain have blamed last month’’s Mumbai terror attacks on Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Pakistan has condemned the attacks and denied any state role, blaming “non-state actors”. (ANI)
