London, Jun 12 (ANI): A couple suspected of offering drugs to Amy Winehouse has been charged with conspiracy to supply, following the revelation of a sensational video.

In the video, 24-year-old Winehouse could be seen smoking crack, however no charges were levied against her, due to lack of proof regarding the substance that was being used.

But the video contained enough evidence, to convince the CPS to charge 34-year-old John Blagrove and his 22-year-old girlfriend Cara Burton, reports the Sun.

The two, who are from Dalston, East London, were bailed to appear before Thames JPs in July, on charges of supplying cocaine and ecstasy earlier this year.

Besides smoking crack, the Back to Black singer was shown as apparently snorting MDMA (powdered ecstasy), and cocaine and admitting to taking Valium tablets.

Even though there is not enough evidence to charge the Rehab singer, the charges made under the conspiracy law against Blagrove and Burton, does not require proof of what the substances in the film are. (ANI)
