New Delhi, Jan 28(ANI): Delhi continued to shiver with the minimum temperature dipping to 2.3 degree Celsius this morning, six degrees below normal.
According to Meteorological Department, Delhi is likely to be under a cold spell for some more days.
Northwesterly winds are expected to continue for the next few days.
The met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
The seasons lowest temperature was recorded at 1.9 degree Celsius on January 2.
Meanwhile, in Amritsar, the minimum temperature dropped to nearly two degree Celsius.
Amritsar had registered its lowest temperature of -2.4 degree Celsius on January 24.
The National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting has attributed the cold wave to western disturbances affecting Northwest India. (ANI)
