Republican presidential candidate John McCain’’s wife Cindy McCain has blasted the Fox News program “The View” for attacking her husband and her in an interview last Friday.
“In spite of what you see … in the newspapers, and on shows like ”The View” I don”t know if any of you saw ”The View” yesterday, they picked our bones clean in spite of what you see, that’’s not what the American people are saying and what they are believing,” Fox News quoted Cindy as saying at the 119th annual Oakland County Republican Party’’s Lincoln Day Dinner.
During the McCains” appearance, they were asked about everything from Gov. Sarah Palin to their houses to the separation of church and state.
At one point, co-host Joy Behar told McCain that two of his campaign ads are “untrue … they”re lies.”
Later, when McCain mentioned that he wanted to appoint Supreme Court justices who “strictly interpret” and “enforce” the Constitution, moderator Whoopi Goldberg asked: “Do I have to be worried about becoming a slave again?” (ANI)
