Chinese team calls on SM Krishna
November 12th, 2009 - 1:29 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): A Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation led by Liu Qibao met External Affairs Minister SM Krishna here on Wednesday.
Liu Qibao, a member of the powerful CPC Central Committee, discussed a range of bilateral issues, including trade and investment and cooperation in disaster mitigation.
Qibao, also the chief of CPC’s Sichuan Provincial Committee, is heading a six-member delegation.
The meeting took place at a time of sharp exchange of words between the two sides over the Dalai Lama’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh. (ANI)
