Amritsar, Dec.21 (ANI): A collection of olden handwritten miniature manuscripts, replicas of Sikh weapons, and treasured photographs of the Sikh gurus and warriors has been put on public display here.
The Chief Khalsa Diwan, the oldest and respectable socio-religious organization of the Sikhs, has organized the exhibition. Established in 1902, it has made commendable contribution in promoting Sikh culture and served the nation and community in the field of education since its formation.
The exhibition is intended to let new generation be aware about the old Sikh culture and customs.
The weapons used in various battles by the Sikh Gurus and warriors and also mentioned in Sikh holy books, have been kept in the exhibition. Besides Chief Khalsa Diwan has also exhibited the old handwritten Sikh scriptures.
About 80 types of weapons especially manufactured from Patiala and more are expected to be include in the upcoming museum of Chief Khalsa Diwan. The organization intends to set up the museum for the references for the scholars who want to study Sikh culture and custom.
The Diwan also set up an old Sikh music instrumental museum in the premises of the central Orphanage of Chief Khalsa Diwan.
“We are doing this effort to showcase the Sikh way of life, culture, customs and traditions to increase awareness of the Sikh culture among the new generation who has been attracting more to the western culture, said Bhag Singh Ankhi, honorary secretary of the Chief Khalsa Diwan.
It is important for us young born Sikhs to realize our own full potential and to rise above petty disputes and to follow a path given to us by our Guru’s and to feel part of a community, said he.
Such exhibition rally educate about the glory of Sikh culture, customs and there should be more exhibitions organized in Punjab and out of Punjab said, one of the visitors. (ANI)

Identify The Sikhs, Who Is Who?

It was very positive and the encouraging step for Sikhs that ‘Panj Piaras’ comprising former Jathedars of Takhts and granthis, Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Giani Kewal Singh, Prof Manjit Singh, Giani Charan Singh and Giani Narinder Singh submit Darshan Singh’s clarification on his controversial remarks to Jathedar, Akal Takht, Giani Gurbachan Singh on 25 December 2009 to avoid any friction in and or division of Sikhs and for the permanent solution of the issues of the community which must be sorted out by forming a religious panel.
Whoever was participating in burning effigies etc due to factionalism and divides Sikhs, was worthy to be called a Sikh?
Was it not the behaviour of all politically motivated Sikhs, divided on the lines of factionalism within Sikhs at the instance of anti-Sikh forces or of their own reasons?
Were the only non-party and the non-politically motivated Sikhs not true Sikhs now?
Identify the Sikhs, who is who? Also read, the Sikh Vichar Manch’s an analysis about ‘The Political Conferences at Shaheedi Sammelan’ as under:
The Political Conferences at Shaheedi Sammelan -An Analysis
FATEHGARH SAHIB: The Sikh Vichar Manch was of the view after assessing and analyzing the political conferences at Shaheedi sammelan on the historic occasion of 305th martyrdom day that the congress or any other party through the central agencies shall not play to field and use seriously their spineless and non-poisonous snakes, so-called Panthic leaders against the Shiromani Akali Dal headed by Badals in the coming Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhanbdak Committee (SGPC) elections.
There is possibility of mutual internal adjustment i.e. friendly match with “Panthic leaders” on a few seats to project the image that the SGPC elections held in a very healthy atmosphere and is the result of mature democratic process.
The government of India stands exposed badly for adopting mean and deceptive tactics also in religious matters and for the reasons, neither seems in a mood to vitiate the religious atmosphere nor would be now appreciated as a vitiator in Punjab.

Sikh Politics Or The Dirty Indian Politics
The “some powers” may follow some another route in the Sikh politics after the disclosure of their nefarious designs and the dirty Indian politics by the Sikh Vichar Manch.
The Sikh Vichar Manch is now of the opinion that the “some powers” wouldn’t misuse their men directly to abuse, criticize or to use the similar language like ‘Badalshahi On Nanakshahi’ and so on against Sardar Parkash Singh Badal and his family alone as was the part of politics with regard to Sikh affairs conspiringly earlier, and, as now it appears from the language used in the latest article, ‘Sikh Nation has One Granth, One Panth and One Rehat Maryada’ in view of the following disclosure of their nefarious designs and the dirty Indian politics by the Sikh Vichar Manch.
Who Knows Who Is Who? What an Indian Politics?
Whatever may be the politics!
The forces (openly working to harm the community) and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) especially Sardar Parkash Badal and his family, both were benefited in the past at the cost of sacrifices of common Sikhs as experienced.
SAD defends changes in Nanakshah Calendar
Versus
The time has come for all the panthic leaders to work for giving a crushing defeat to those elements in Punjab, in country and abroad, who were working to harm the community on the directions of those forces which attacked Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib, were actively involved in Sikh carnage and are now active to harm the interests of the Sikh community to fulfill their nefarious designs.
The above argument could not be taken lightly. The attitude of the forces i.e. elements in Punjab, in country and abroad was known to all Sikhs as to how they played and continuing so in the hands of forces which attacked Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib, were actively involved in sikh carnage and are now active to harm the interests of the sikh community to fulfill their nefarious designs.
It was also said that Nanakshahi calendar is a calendar of Sikh community which has full right to amend and update it according to the changing need of the time (For playing politics on the same issue again and again as usually happens in India) and no interference of the external forces would be tolerated in this matter.
In view of the above arguments against the forces said to be working to harm the community and their (the forces) agitation were never or are no way harmful to the vote bank of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).
Sometime, Sikhs minds get puzzled politically and start thinking, whether the forces (Openly working to harm the community) were always not kept reserve, hired and paid to play such dramas by “some powers” in order to enhance the non-Sikh communal vote bank and support in favour of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) especially Sardar Parkash Badal and his family?
Who knows, what was and is politics in it?
Whatever may be the politics!
The forces (openly working to harm the community) and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) especially Sardar Parkash Badal and his family, both were benefited in the past at the cost of sacrifices of common Sikhs as experienced.
Who were or are managing such dramas?
To my mind, that could not be without the direction and
support of “some powers”

SGPC haste to amend NanakShahi calendar raises eyebrows-COMMENTS
The Indian Spoiled System
Think Twice Before Toeing, Narrating or Propagating Your Line and One-sided Stories
1. Would the Sikh Sangat world wide be ready to see ‘The Indian Spoiled System’ with the help of spectacles and the eyes of Sikh Vichar Manch before giving your advice and suggestions, to the thieves, the rulers or the persons in queue to be so, by attending their seminars, conferences, meetings, Dharnas etc?
2. Are you so powerful and prepared to question their (the thieves, rulers or in queue to be so) very inception and at whose instance and at whose cost, they were and are in field? In short, question them, who are they?
3. Are you, yourself not one of the thieves, the rulers or the persons in queue to be so?
4. Will ever be any meaningful effect of your independent advice and suggestions on them?
5. If you are independent and or mentally powerful and prepared to know, question and competent to do the analysis of all this, would ever you be invited and or tolerated to address such seminars, conferences, meetings, Dharnas etc conducted by them?
6. I don’t think you can answer, independently, positively and conclusively in view of the ground realities prevailing in India.
7. Then, to whom to suggest or advise for reforms in ‘The Indian Spoiled System’?
Please do link and read and comment independently-Thanks

Comment:
Subject: It is always proper to exhaust administrative course first for administrative action before approaching the courts.
Whether the petition was filed for amendment to Article 25 of the Constitution challenging its validity for implementing the recommendation of a commission to delink Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism from the Hindu Marriage Act or only for the correction of procedural mistake on the ground that Sikh community which is issued birth certificates under the Hindu law faces an uphill task to explain to the immigration authorities across the globe that the community is different from the Hindus?
Without going through the full text of the judgment, commenting vaguely shall not be fully justified.
As it appears from the remarks of the Supreme Court, “it could not entertain the subject as it had to be looked into by an appropriate authority in the government”, it seems, the matter is involved of correction of procedural mistake, left at the discretion of the authority, not specified.
It is always proper to exhaust administrative course first for administrative action before approaching the courts.

The Misconception or Ignorance about Sikh Identity
“To my mind, the misconception about Sikh identity can be removed by a simple administrative order by an addition, ‘the bride and bridegroom are Sikh by religion or words to that effect’ in the marriage registration rules. Thereafter, the endorsement should be made to that effect in the certificate issued after the registration of marriage of Sikhs. Isn’t?”
Indian Supreme Court axes Sikh identity petition
http://www.emgonline.co.uk/news.php?news=8550
A Bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justices R V Raveendran and Deepak Verma explained the proviso to Article 25 to allay the misconception.
The Bench agreed with the counsel that immigration authorities in Middle-East countries were stubborn but counselled the petitioner to move the appropriate authority in government for a solution rather than approaching the court
As it appears the relief was sought in the petition as it looks, only to allay the misconception or the ignorance of the immigration authorities in Middle-East countries.
So, in this case by counseling the petitioner to move the appropriate authority in government for a solution rather than approaching the court, there did not seem any question of axing Sikh identity petition.
To my mind, the misconception about Sikh identity can be removed by a simple administrative order by an addition, ‘the bride and bridegroom are Sikh by religion or words to that effect’ in the marriage registration rules. Thereafter, the endorsement should be made to that effect in the certificate issued after the registration of marriage of Sikhs. Isn’t?

Linking a public holiday in Punjab to Mourn the Death of CPM veteran Jyoti Basu to Holidays rain in Punjab-Criticism
The Punjab government declared on Monday, January 18, 2010 as a holiday as a mark of respect to former Chief Minister of West Bangal and CPM leader Jyoti Basu should have been linked openly to his exceptionally rendered services especially Sikhs and Muslims by recalling as Chief Minister Comrade Jyoti Basu dealt with the situation after the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1984 when violence against Sikhs broke out in various parts of the country, but nothing was allowed to happen in West Bengal.
This should have been done to avoid any criticims and misgivings to the media and the critics.
It seems, the Punjab government did not do so due to political reasons and the critics must be aware of it.
Similarly Comrade Jyoti Basu dealt firmly with efforts to instigate trouble after the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992.

How to come together and fight for the justice in face of the “Some Powers”?
Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden versus “Some Powers - The Indian Agencies”. Similarities
By Balbir Singh Sooch, Advocate, Ludhiana
Is whoever, in favour of the destruction and the violation of human rights always think on the lines of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden?
The Sikh Vichar Manch did notice the similarities from the statement of fourth eldest son Omar bin Laden with Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden of the behaviour and actions of “Some Powers - The Indian Agencies” and their henchmen, naming a few would be unjustified, in order to get killed their own countrymen, as a method to rule by terrorizing the whole Indians.
“Some Powers - The Indian Agencies” may be different than Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden ideologically in their behaviour and in actions.
The henchmen of the “Some Powers - The Indian Agencies” (To imagine and understand “Some Powers” Click to read: Chittisinghpora massacre ) were always more powerful after their death to cause the destruction and the violation of human rights in the country like expected by fourth eldest son Omar bin Laden that Osama is worth more to the United States alive than dead because his death could unleash “very, very nasty” attacks by militants.
And inference can safely be drawn from: “My father, Omar bin Laden would be disappointed because Obama got the position,” that such agencies never desire Mr. Barack Obama like leadership in the world.
“Some Powers”: Though, about the “some powers, the Union minister Farooq Abdullah said only this much, ‘that the “some powers” had prevented him from probing the massacre of 35 Sikhs at Chattisinghpora in 2000 on the eve of Bill Clinton’s visit to India’.
………..
………..
………..
The Union minister Farooq Abdullah also stated that Clinton has truly written in his book that had he not visited India Chattisinghpora massacre would not have taken place, the NC president said, “I have some reservations about Chattisinghpora incident and I will make these public through my book. The book will be released after my death so that nobody will question me”.
He did also criticise Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) President Simranjeet Singh Mann for blaming troopers for the Chattisinghpora incident, “It is a senseless statement. We have nothing to do with Punjab politics.

Religion-Research-Realization about God: An Insight View
The Incarnation of God
Was There Any Other Way I Could Have Responded to This Gesture of Colonel? Khushwant Singh Questioned
By Balbir Singh Sooch, Advocate, Ludhiana
The retired Colonel was very late to understand the worldly affairs and must have given up his ego after a great struggle in his life. Whereas, Khushwant Singh never got any opportunity to struggle, the way colonel did. Both are two faces of the same coin, egoless (but, now colonel was trying to be egoist after some realization religiously to regain his complex) and egoist with regard to the struggle and to understand the worldly affairs respectively.
The Colonel availed the opportunities exceptionally to struggle and understand the worldly affairs, now realized that it all was a gift of God. On the other hand, Khushwant Singh and his family members were born with a silver spoon in mouth, to always have such opportunities within their reach, without any mental agony. And, they don’t think this all was God gifted to them.
The only answer to this at this stage was that the views about God for both of them are the opposite faces of the struggle, the religious realization and the understanding of the worldly affairs. Both feel enlightened in their own way. So, the ego is very much natural in them.
My view and answer related to this is quite different. So far, I understand the mind of colonel; he passed always his service period in struggle proving himself good in the eyes of his superiors. Now, he is retired, but his habits have not changed. Similarly, he is trying proving himself again after some religious realization in Sri Satya Sai Baba’s township Puttaparthi. Otherwise, presently his capacity of arranging a meeting with your dead parents is only a dream till scientists proving it subsequently.
And, some of the American scientists are already working on the similar job, moving in right direction, surprising to the scientists class itself nowadays.
The American scientists have already moved in similar direction and alleged to have been researched a medicine and only one tablet would be sufficient to increase the human age from 28 to 38 percent as reported very recently. The further research is also going on that in the next 20 years period; the man could be kept alive forever with the help of scientific researched technique already in progress.
I personally as a layman, being firm believer in goodness of nature and or God, from my childhood itself, used to say and believe, “that the research may be incomplete about the life saving substance permanently up to now, due to imperfection of researchers or human (s), otherwise, the chemicals in any shape are already available or existing on Earth-planets. The chemicals when found, put on the dead body that would be alive. The human is sufficiently equipped by nature and or God to research this all on Earth-planets, to solve and avoid all types of miseries caused death subject to the act of God.”
The word ‘God’ is always remained painful for atheists in principles like Khushwant Singh. Similarly for the communists, while they are acting politically and in principles (May not be the case in person or personally in practice for them. On this account, they lived or are living double faced, standard life in their social as well as family life) and that was the only unavoidable importance of ‘God’ for them.
During my interaction along with others at Old District Courts, Ludhiana in 1984, in reply to a question as to what would happen hereafter; Harkishan Singh Bassi alias Harkishan Singh Surjeet, the 92-year-old (1916-2008) known as the Marxist pioneer, raised his right hand pointing upward that now HE (God) only knows?
Obviously, the reply was relating to the question, ‘The Indian Army Attack (The Blue Star) on Durbar Sahib, Amritsar and other Gurdwaras’ in Punjab. Surprisingly asked by the present almost collectively there on spot i.e. in a room interacting with him but you don’t believe in HIM (God)? He promptly replied, “I do believe but my party does not”. Surjeet did also live very rich in practice openly but was poor in principles. The present Marxist’s ideology stands also exposed currently.
Khushwant Singh knows many others — whom he holds in esteem — who share the same point of view like colonel about the incarnation of God (But as per Sikhism, God is omnipresent and even could be felt within. It depends upon the research work and the struggle of each individual). Among them were Nani Palkiwala, perhaps the most distinguished constitutional lawyer of our country, and Justice Bhagwati, a retired Chief Justice of India. Then there is DP Mehra, retired Air Chief of Staff and Governor of Rajasthan.
Without further elaborating the issue, I prefer to cite my two poems in Panjabi, please click to read my mind and views as a part of this answer, ‘The Incarnation of God’:

It may be considered my layman’s answer, ‘The Incarnation of God’ in brief to the question, was there any other way I could have responded to this gesture, with reference to the note, ‘For a noble cause’? It was an open question; the others who are wiser religiously must express their own views and answer in reference to the note. It is worth mentioning that Sardar Khushwant Singh is one of the much respected elderly and prominent writers of this age. His writings are very educative and romantic with a shadow of a rich background to grasp.

Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale was captured alive by Indian Army and was killed latter
The International peace loving Human Rights Organizations and the world communities to get the Rule of Law implemented must intervene for justice in this case.
Were the Martyr and the Victim Theories Taught and Given by “Some Powers” to Publish?
The Khalra Mission Organization (KMO) was legally right in the larger interest to get registered FIR that Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale was captured alive by Indian Army and was killed latter and KMO also obtained and produced the Post Mortem report of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale to further corroborate the story of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale captured alive and was killed latter.
Who taught to draw a line between Martyr and Victim to stress ridiculously that the demanding and inquiry or ‘justice’ for him is fundamentally incorrect and for rejecting all claims that Sant was captured alive by Indian Army and was killed latter?
The story titled as,” Former RAW officials claim regarding death of Sant Bhindranwale contested by eye-witness” was purely a planted story by projecting so-called eye-witness as usual, was the practice at the instance of “Some powers” in such cases to hush up the case and the FIR filed by ‘the Khalra Mission Organization (KMO)’ at Amritsar.
The International peace loving Human Rights Organizations and the world communities to get the Rule of Law implemented must intervene for justice in this case.

The nasty approach and the reaction planned would further help to disintegrate India
So far, I understand Hindu’s philosophical approach being a student of law, it will never disown Sikhs, Janis, Buddhists, and Dalits along with their separate identity in any manner as long as they are submissive to Hinduism.
Whenever, someone challenged the approach collectively or individually, the Hindu fundamentalists will do every non-sense to denigrate their institutions and martyrs.
The fundamentalists will never change their mentality of supremacy and shall also question separate identity of others especially targeting Sikhs as was experienced openly and rest is the history.
The approach of fundamentalists only was of not tolerating Sikhs, Janis, Buddhists, Dalits and their true independent and separate identity.
The nasty approach and the reaction planned would further help to disintegrate India speedily.
Now the parties are not only playing with the sentiments of Indians, but also working for disintegration of India i.e. to become confederation of the independent of states.

November 1984 Sikh Massacre Justice Commitee formed
The Whole World and Sikhs Must Know the Reality as To What For “November 1984 Sikh Massacre Justice Committee” Formed After 25 Years?
1. Will the Justice Committee after 25 years only to ensure that all victims and survivors are adequately rehabilitated and also only to make sure that the government does not fail to keep the obligations of paying compensations to the victims?
2. Will the Justice Committee also to ensure that the ‘Guilty Of Engineering and Abetting the 1984 Massacre of Sikhs Be Prosecuted After the Investigation in or along with the Pending Cases’?
3. Was the then entire government machinery not to be held responsible and guilty of engineering and abetting the 1984 massacre of Sikhs, the State- Sponsored Violence against Sikhs by the justice committee for the prosecution under section 120-B of IPC etc after the investigation in or along with the pending cases?
4. If answer is no to the questions 2 & 3 above, then is it not an exercise on the part of the Justice Committee to cover up of the crimes on the line of Punjab and for ensuring that no guilty of Engineering and Abetting the 1984 Massacre of Sikhs Be Prosecuted After the Investigation in or along with the Pending Cases?
5. Were the Similar demands for adequate compensation by the then Committee for Coordination on Disappearances in Punjab (CCDP not as a cover up of the crimes to ensure that no guilty of the state machinery be punished for ‘The Extrajudicial Executions’ and for the disappearance of the Sikhs in Punjab?
6. Did the team consists of: Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Attorney at Law; Harvinder Singh Phoolka Senior Advocate, Navkiran Singh, Advocate etc accept the assignment of the cover up of the crimes voluntarily or are they working under undue pressure and influence of “Some powers” to do this task against the spirit of ‘Rule of Law’?
Will the world community and the genuine peace loving International Human Rights Organizations answer to the questions in the larger interest?

The Guilty Of Engineering and Abetting the 1984 Massacre of Sikhs Be Prosecuted After the Investigation in the Pending Cases
Was the then entire government machinery not to be held responsible and guilty of engineering and abetting the 1984 massacre of Sikhs, the State- Sponsored Violence against Sikhs and be prosecuted under section 120-B of IPC etc after the investigation in the pending cases?
Or
Are all the criminals responsible for the `genocide of Sikhs’ or the `State-Sponsored Violence’ against Sikhs not be allowed to take the plea in defence of the then PM (Rajiv Gandhi) who almost rationalized the killing,”?
Or
Was the then PM Rajiv Gandhi not the main accused for the `genocide of Sikhs’ or the `State-Sponsored Violence’ against Sikhs?
Or
Whether in case, the main accused (Rajiv Gandhi) stands killed by a ‘Human Bomb’, the other co-accused, who remained the part and parcel of the then entire government machinery, responsible for the `genocide of Sikhs’ or the `State-Sponsored Violence’ against Sikhs, were exempted in the investigation or can not be prosecuted after the investigation in the pending cases, now?
Because, the justice is being denied, intentionally and deliberately, as experienced, then, under the circumstances, every possibility could to be seen as impossibility in India.
