The video, released on the occasion of Flag Day, has been prepared by the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Home Affairs,
According to an official statement, the video highlights key messages of communal harmony, national integration and unity in diversity.
It said the video features Faesal, who topped the IAS examination in 2009, as the Goodwill Ambassador of NFCH.
“The video brings to light how the great determination and grit of a person affected with societal obstacles can overcome adversities in life. Through the video, Dr. Faesal highlights the need for being resilient against odds in life and also believing in oneself in order to be successful in life,” the statement said.
It said that the message for the younger generation was that they should use their abilities, skills and education for constructive activities which make them a part of the nation building process.
The statement said that Flag Day falls every year on the last day of Communal Harmony Campaign Week which is also called ‘Qaumi Ekta Week (National Integration Week)’, observed every year between Nov 19 and 25.
It said NFCH provides financial assistance to the child victims of societal violence, promotes communal harmony and national integration and encourages activities to promote belief in the principles of non-violence in resolving disputes between different religious and other groups in society.
