London, Nov 2 (ANI): X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has a second family that she shares with her divorced dad, Garry Tweedy, it has been revealed.

The Girls Aloud singer has mentioned about the three brothers and a sister her mum raised with her after the split with the stars painter and decorator dad.

Now, it has been revealed that the 25-year-old nurtured her dads new family away from the spotlight of her showbiz career.

Lots of people assume that just because Cheryl doesnt talk much about her dad that theres some sort of bad blood from her parents divorce, the Daily Star quoted a family friend, as saying.

But nothing could be further from the truth. Shes got a whole second family that the world just doesnt know about, the friend added.

Cheryl was just a kid when her father Garry and mum Joan parted ways.

Garry, 45, went on to wed Joanne Baker, 37, when Cheryl was 19 and taking her first steps towards stardom.

Cheryl was distraught when her parents split up. She lived with her mum but always kept in touch with her dad, the friend said.

Garry and Joanne, Cheryls new stepbrother Lee, 21, and stepsister Gemma, 17, lived in a small, end-of-terrace house just two miles from Cheryl.

The singer grew so close to her dads new family that five years ago she was a bridesmaid when Garry married care worker Joanne. (ANI)
