Chennai, Feb 28 (ANI): The on going 24th edition of ZAK Jewellery Exhibition at Chennai has given an opportunity to jewellery manufacturers to showcase their latest creations.

Organised by Zak Trade Fair and Exhibitions, the Zak Jewels 2010 Trade Fair is among the prime exhibitions of its kind for jewellery and precious stones.

More than 50 jewellers are participating in this exhibition.

“The objective to organise is to bring in latest designs of jewellery by the manufacturers and exporters. We have been conducting (exhibitions) regularly. Most of the jewellery manufacturers are from Jaipur, Delhi and Hyderabad. So we are creating a platform for discerning customers,” said Syed Zakir, Director, Zak Trade Fair and Exhibitions.

Trendy as well as antique designs have left many visitors delighted and dazzled.

“Exhibition is a good opportunity for us to buy and I really like the stuff that is being showcased over here. There is lot of variety from Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. It is a great shopping experience for me at least and my family,” said Neha, a visitor.

Gems and jewellery sector is one of the fastest growing industries in India with an annual growth rate of 10 to 15 per cent. (ANI)
