The 33-year-old actress has been sued for 20 million dollars by the Swiss watchmakers for reneging the endorsement contract specifying that she will wear only their watches.
The legal notice came after the Monster star was spotted wearing sporting a Christian Dior watch.
Theron tried to fight the claims back in February, but this week a judge ruled that the proceedings must indeed go to trial, reports the New York Daily News.
In the lawsuit, Raymond Weil demands the “substantial funds” estimated by lawyers to be 20 million dollars.
According to court papers, Theron must appear in Federal Court for the Southern District of New York by the end of October. (ANI)
