New Delhi, Sep. 30 (ANI): Ahead of the Commonwealth Games next year, the Centre has charted out a comprehensive plan to provide state of art postal services in New Delhi.

The objective is to provide all facilities including e-money services to the people on single window.

The facility of receiving RTI for any ministry and other information relevant to the government’s functioning will be available at these post offices being opened under the Project Arrow Phase-III.

Two of them are already operational and the rest will be in place before September next year.

Sixty-six such post offices are being opened in Delhi under the project.

Out of 4000 Post Offices being opened, 1500 have already started functioning in the first two phases across the country and the third phase of the Project Arrow is being implemented in full swing.

More than three crore saving accounts have been opened up in the Post Offices by the people working for National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, NREGA. (ANI)
