As per the latest reports, China is building a network of roads and strengthening its military on the India-China border.
S M Krishna added the discussion is on with China over the construction at the disputed border in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Well, we have taken up (construction on disputed border) with the government of China. China has always accepted that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed area between India and Pakistan. So it has to be settled between those two countries. That is official position taken by China,” he said.In the last few months, the tensions have increased between India and China over reports of border intrusions by the Chinese Army.
The two countries have appointed representatives to solve the vexed problem of border dispute. (ANI)
