Mumbai, Aug 4 (ANI): The cast and crew of ‘Antardwand’ promoted their film in Mumbai.

Directed and produced by Sushil Rajpal, the film stars Vinay Pathak, Raj Singh Chaudary, Swati Sen and Akhilendra Mishra among others.

While interacting with media on Tuesday, Rajpal said the movie is based on a true story.

“I know one person who got married like this, then I met three-four more and we have tried to be very right till the end. There is not much of fictionalization,” said Rajpal.

Rajpal also added it is a social issue and common man will relate to it and would definitely love the film.

The film is based on the real life issue of groom-abduction in Bihar.

Talking to reporters, Raj Singh Chowdhary, Bollywood actor said the film is about a social issue and is based on real facts.

“Antardwand’ is a very good film because it has already received a National Award and it is based on real facts, film about a social issue that people are not aware about it, and there is curiosity factor that such thing also happens in our country,” said Chowdhary.

The film has also received the 55th National Award for the Best Film.

The film is slated for release on August 27. (ANI)
