New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): With the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court set to announce its verdict in the Ayodhya title suit, the Central Government has postponed its weekly cabinet meet scheduled for Thursday.

Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, an alert has been sounded across the state and security has been intensified in and around all vital installations in view of the pronouncement of verdict.

Additional civil and police officers are being deployed at sensitive places including Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow bench premises.

Administrations in all the districts are directed to ensure that anti-social elements do not disturb law and order situation on the pretext of this sensitive issue.

Security of the three High Court judges had already been tightens in view of the verdict. About 20 personnel of PAC and five CRPF personnel have been deployed at residence of all the three judges.

They have been also provided an escort and pilot car and one PSO. A DSP rank officer has been made in charge of the judge’s security.

About 25 districts of the state including Agra, Allahabad, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Beharaich, Bulandsahar, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut, Moradabad, Mau, Varanasi, Faizabad, Mathura, Bijnore, Muzaffarnagar and Lucknow have been identified as sensitive and hyper sensitive and special precautions have taken in these districts.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has appealed to the people of the state to maintain peace in view of the coming Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya title suit.

The Supreme Court had on Tuesday gave its nod to the court’s Lucknow Bench to go ahead with its announcement of the judgment in the case, as it rejected an appeal that sought to defer the Allahabad Court’s verdict on the Ayodhya-Ramjanambhoomi title issue. (ANI)
