Cabinet approves amendments in air services agreement between India and JordanDecember 24th, 2007 - 3:06 pm ICT by admin
New Delhi, Dec 24 (ANI): The Union Government today gave its approval for the amendments in the Air Services Agreement (ASA) between the Governments of India and Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed on October 16, 1989.
During the last round of bilateral air services talks with Jordan held on January 15-16, 2007, both sides agreed to modernise the existing ASA by amending certain provisions thereof.
These amendments in the existing ASA between Government of India and the Government of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have the potential to spur greater trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries, besides bringing in line with the developments in International Civil Aviation.
