C N R Rao, H K Dua may get Rajya Sabha nomination
November 18th, 2009 - 7:01 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov.18 (ANI): The Government is learnt to have cleared the names of C N R Rao, scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister, A.K.Ganguly, former chairman of Hindustan Lever and H K Dua, editor-in-chief of The Tribune, for the Rajya Sabha.
The government has to nominate three distinguished persons to the upper House of Parliament.
A notification will be issued soon.
Rao is a well-known scientist and Dua is a senior journalist who has also been media advisor to prime ministers. (ANI)
