Chandigarh, May 26 (ANI): Budding fashion designers showcased their collection in ‘Anukama 2008′, the annual fashion show held by the students of Northern Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT).
Femina Miss India Earth 2008, Tanvi Vyas, walked the ramp and embellished the designs of the graduating students.
Top models added glitter to the night by sashaying down the ramp perfectly wearing the designer collections of NIIFT’s fashion and knitwear design and technology courses.
Tanvi Vyas said that such platform not only showcases the collection of young designers but also boost their confidence as professional models walk the ramp in their designer attires.
The ramp witnessed the varied collection of both traditional and western outfits, which displayed the creativity of the budding designers.
Kaushik Ghosh, the choreographer of the show said that the theme was prepared keeping in view the ultimate aim of highlighting the collection of designers so that they can reap maximum benefits through it.
The students creatively used woven, knits, khadi, silk and leather to enhance creativity of their themes and collections. As many as 50 collections were presented during the fashion show by the graduates. (ANI)
