BSF seizes heroin near Indo-Pak border, 1 Pakistani intruder killed
November 14th, 2007 - 2:21 am ICT by adminThe intruders were trying to sneak into the Indian Territory, BSF officials said, adding that on being challenged by the BSF the duo tried to flee and were fired at.
“There are 14 packets of one kilogram each. One of the intruders threw the packets one by one across the fence. His accomplice backed him with weapons,” said Raj Kumar Vishkarma, Deputy Inspector General (Border Range).
The BSF has sent a protest note to Pakistani Rangers and has called for a flag meeting. The Pakistani side is yet to respond.
The deceased has not been identified yet. (ANI)
