Bruni-Sarkozy’’s album ranked third in French charts

London, July 20 (ANI): Carla Bruni-Sarkozy’’s new album has landed the third spot in French album sales a week after its release.
Comme si de rien n”etait (As If Nothing Had Happened) is only behind albums by Coldplay and a French pop singer Laurent Voulzy, according to France’’s National Union of Phonographic Edition
According to her record label, Naive, the album sold more than 14,000 copies in its first two days, reports the Daily Express.
The former supermodel-turned-singer married French President Nicolas Sarkozy in February after a whirlwind romance.
The new album is being released around Europe this month and is also tipped to hit shelves in the US on August 5. (ANI)
