- London, Sept 10 (ANI): The trial for Vince Acors and Michelle Palmer, the British couple accused of having sex on a Dubai beach, has been adjourned for a month.
The Dubai’’s Court of First Instance has adjourned the case until October 7, as per the couples lawyer Hassan Matter.
Palmer was not present at the hearing because she was “not well”, said the lawyer.
He, however, did not give any details of her illness.
Even the policeman who had arrested the couple did not show up in the court to give evidence.
Matter said that the officer would be attending the next hearing.
The officer had in a statement described seeing the couple in a passionate embrace on Jumeirah Beach.
“Her shirt was off and she was sitting on him and their voices were excited,” the Daily Express quoted him as having said.
“They didn”t even notice me standing there. He was kissing and playing with her chest. I shone my torch on them and said ”Excuse me”. It was then they noticed me, he added.
The couple have been denying that they were having unmarried sex and conducting any sort of public indecency. (ANI)
