London, May 30 (ANI): The Brit Indian couple accused of dumping their IVF twin girls because they wanted boys, has denied the claims.

The 72-year-old dad of the twins said: Well bring them up with love, and added that the rumpus was a misunderstanding.

On May 29, it was reported that the girls mother, 59, and father had travelled to India for fertility treatment that would not have been allowed in Britain because of their age.

The parents, who were born in India but are British citizens living in Birmingham, reportedly told doctors they did not want the “wrong sex” babies immediately after the children were born by Caesarean section in Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital.

However, on the night of May 29, the twins dad he would be at the girls bedside, explaining: They are my children we love my children.

The newborns half-brother added: The story has been misunderstood because of a lack of communication. My fathers English is not good and the person receiving it at the other end must have lost something in translation.

The twins will be raised as their daughters. They will not be neglected, The Sun quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
