Mumbai, Dec 5 (ANI): Jumbo, an animation flick from Bollywood about a young elephant is all set to enthrall audience this Christmas.

Jumbo is a story of a young elephant that is taunted by other elephants for being fatherless.

Angered by the constant teasing, Jumbo embarks on a journey to search for his father, who he comes to know is a war elephant for a king.

The adventures and experiences that young Jumbo faces in his journey and how he grows up to become a strong and fearless warrior is what the film revolves around.

The concept of the film captivated cricketer Yuvraj Singh who found it quite interesting.

As you see, we have Spiderman and Superman and international comic stars, so I am sure Jumbo is going to go a long way. It’’s a very interesting concept, said Yuvraj.

A volley of popular Bollywood actors has lent their voices for the movie, which the makers say is for the entire family.

It’’s just not a children’’s film but for the entire family, is for every body who has got a child in their heart, said Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Picture Company, producer of “Jumbo”.

Most animation films released in India have targeted children and mined India’’s rich Hindu mythology for stories.

”Hanuman” was the first Indian animation production to captivate the fancy of the young and old alike and paved the way for many more such animation films to be made in the country.

“Jumbo” is the latest entry in the segment, which promises to be a complete entertainer. The movie was scheduled to be released earlier on December 19, it will now hit the theatres on Christmas. (ANI)
