Blur to reunite, perform at Glastonbury
December 9th, 2008 - 6:39 pm ICT by ANILondon, December 9 (ANI): Alternative rock band Blur is reportedly set to reunite and perform at Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
Rockers Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, who have been missing from the music scene as a band since their 2003 tour, are expected to soon confirm their reunion.
The British pop group, which had suffered a row between Damon and Graham that resulted in the axe mans departure in 2002, is said to be coming back together at 2009s Glastonbury before doing their own show in Londons Hyde Park in July.
It was the reunion many thought would never happen. Graham and Damons relationship had become toxic by 2002. But theyve patched up their differences and are friends again, British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.
The group have done some rehearsals and are all chuffed with the results. Theyve decided is the time to go back out on the road, the source added. (ANI)
