BJP will emerge as biggest party in elections: AdvaniApril 10th, 2009 - 6:01 pm ICT by ANI
Patna, Apr 10 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani on Friday said that his party would emerge as the biggest party in the elections.
“I am certain after going across the country and reading people’s mood that the BJP will emerge as the biggest party in the elections,” Advani told reporters here.
The BJP leader said with several alliance partners of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) deserting it, his party has an advantage in the general elections.
“In the last one month, one by one several UPA partners have deserted it and are fighting against the Congress - that itself gives advantage to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA),” he added.
Advani further said that the Third Front is just a ‘fallacy’ and it has no chance of forming the government at the Centre.
“I consider the Third Front as a fallacy. If the Third Front is a fallacy, then the Fourth Front will just be a fantasy,” he added.
He claimed that the formation of next government was not possible without the support of the BJP or the Congress. (ANI)
