Melbourne, June 3 (ANI): Former US President Bill Clinton has slammed reports that he had an inappropriate relationship with actress Gina Gershon.

Clintons furore came as his private life was examined in minute detail in a major profile piece in the current edition of Vanity Fair entitled “The Comeback Id”.

In one part of the 10,000 word article comes the claim that though there has been a “steady stream” of tabloid and internet speculation, there has been “no proof of post-presidential sexual indiscretions” on Clintons part.

As for the women who were allegedly involved with Clinton, well the rumours were strongest about Canadian MP Belinda Stronach and actress Gina Gershon, perhaps best known for her roles in Showgirls and Face/Off.

The article certainly hasnt gone down well with Clinton, reports News.com.au.

“A tawdry, anonymous-quote-filled attack piece, published in this months Vanity Fair magazine regarding former President Bill Clinton repeats many past attacks on him, ignores much prior positive coverage, includes numerous errors, and ultimately breaks no new ground,” his office said.

“It is, in short, journalism of personal destruction at its worst.” (ANI)
