Bhadarwah (J-K), Oct 19 (ANI): A bike rally is on in the Bhadarwah Valley to promote tourism.
Organised by Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA), the week-long rally began on Saturday.
Twenty bikers from different states along with the local sportsmen participated in the rally.
Dinesh, a biker from Andhra Pradesh said that he always wanted to be part of such an expedition.
“I was very excited to be part of this expedition. When I came to know about it, I registered myself on the Internet for the rally. This rally is very close to the nature and also we come to know about the development that has taken place in the surrounding area,” said Dinesh.
Klyan Singh, chief executive officer of BDA said that the region had ample scope for tourism.
“Bikers during the rally will click photographs of all the beautiful locations, they will come across during their journey and these photographs will be uploaded on the website. Also, all unexplored locations during the rally will be promoted from the adventure angle,” he said.
Bhaderwah valley possesses tremendous potential for adventure seekers. It is also ideal for para-gliding, snow skiing, mountaineering and trekking. (ANI)
