Bangladesh supports permanent membership in UN Security Council for India
January 12th, 2010 - 11:02 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan.12 (ANI): Bangladesh has supported in principle for India’s candidature for the permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council as and when the reform of the UN Security Council is achieved.
Bangladesh has conveyed its support to the Indian candidature for a non-permanent seat in the UNSC for the term 2011-2012. India also conveyed its support to the Bangladesh’s candidature for a non-permanent seat in UNSC for the term 2016-2017, said the Joint Statement issued by the two governments on Tuesday. . (ANI)
