Bal Thackeray says remote control of politics remains with me
January 23rd, 2010 - 2:36 pm ICT by ANIMumbai, Jan 23 (ANI): Celebrating his 83rd birthday today, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray said he remains at the helm of his party’s affairs.
In a statement in the party mouthpiece “Saamna”, Thackeray said: “I have the remote control of politics and the remote control will continue to remain with me.”
Five years ago, Thackeray announced his retirement from active politics, making way for son Uddhav. (ANI)
