Jaipur, June 16 (ANI): Top Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla is now holding talks with the representatives of the Rajasthan Government led by MP Ram Das Aggarwal to resolve the issue.

I have come to Jaipur with an open mind. I am optimistic about the outcome of the talks, Bainsla told reporters at the gate of Officers’ Training Station (OTS) building in Jaipur.

He is leading a 30-member delegation of his outfit, Gurjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti, to the talks.

The delegation includes his Samiti deputy Captain (retd.) Hari Prasad.

The Rajasthan government team, led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and party treasurer Ramdas Agarwal, includes four state ministers–L N Dave, S M Jat, Nathu Singh Gujjar and Kalu Lal Gujjar.

Before joining the talks in Jaipur today, Bainsla met the 22-member team of his organization and held consultations with them.

The talks between the Rajasthan government and agitating Gujjar leaders have reached a decisive phase.
The agitating Gujjars are demanding schedule tribe status for the community in Rajasthan. (ANI)
