These Vans have been conceptualized and designed by National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO). There will be 32 such especially designed state of the art buses that will be stationed in model blood banks in each state.
These mobile vans have been brought with an aim to augment voluntary blood donation. At one time, four voluntary donors can give blood in air-conditioned comfort with state of the art quality system of blood donor selection and donor care.
The collected blood is brought to model blood banks under proper cold chain.
This van is an integrated facility, where Voluntary Blood Donor will enter from one side and exit from the other side, after completion of whole process of blood donation.
