Army ready to face all challenges: General Singh
January 17th, 2011 - 6:10 pm ICT by ANIAgra, Jan 17 (ANI): Army chief General V K Singh, praising the caliber of the Indian Army, on Monday said the force is ready to take on all challenges.
“Nobody is weak; our army is every courageous and strong and I would say that our army is ready to face all the challenges,” General Singh told reporters while visiting a temple here.
Further talking over the supply of arms to the Indian Army, General Singh said there is a set system, which has to be followed for the sake of transparency.
“Army has some values, and moving ahead, only Army’s modernisation should be good and our army which is known to be the best in the world should reach higher levels,” he added, while giving emphasis on the modernization of the Indian Army. (ANI)
