Arms, ammunition seized from Poonch militant hideout

Poonch, Aug 28 (ANI): Security forces have seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from a militant hideout in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch region.
Poonch Senior Superintendent of Police Manmohan Singh said Indian Army personnel and Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police took part in the search operation in Mankot village.
“AK-47 assault rifles, magazines, a wireless set and three kilograms of RDX, hand grenades and explosive sticks were recovered, Singh said.
Security forces had earlier seized a similar huge cache of arms, including 30 kilograms of RDX from a militant hideout in Rajouri District. (ANI)
