Antonio Banderas may star in indie biopic Dali

The 48-year-old actor is in final negotiations to play Salvador Dali, a Spanish Catalan surrealist painter, reports Variety.
The film will deal with how Dali conquered America and the world with sex, sin and surrealism only to succumb later to worldwide scandal and misfortune.
Two other Dali biopics are in the works. Al Pacino is attached to play the artist in Dali & I: The Surreal Story to be helmed by Andrew Niccol.
The other biopic has roped in the Twillight star Robert Pattinson titled Little Ashes
This film explores the young life and loves of the painter. (ANI)
