Anne Hathaway bruised and bloodied on Get Smart sets

The Princess Diaries star admits her clumsiness in playing action heroine Agent 99 actually brought a halt to filming when she scorched her forehead after walking into fire rods that had been used to create an explosion.
They stayed hot for about 15 minutes after they were lit but I was in my own world and walked straight into one and singed my forehead, the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
The actress then needed 15 stitches after smacking her leg against an iron bar.
I was bringing my knees up to kick a Russian spy in his chest, as one does, and my shins went straight into the metal bar, she said.
Everybody was very accommodating and I had a very nice plastic surgeon who gave me straight scars that are healing nicely.
I had a lot of bruises and I got burned but it was just my own clumsiness, she added. (ANI)
