Melbourne, October 20 (ANI): While being an Angelina Jolie look-alike attracted lots of men towards her, this also turned out to be a cause of her identification as an armed bank robber.
Well, Annarita Ottonello, 29, was easily apprehended by Italian police who were told that the gun-brandishing bandit was Angelina Jolie.
Her arrest came after the police circulated news that a woman having looks similar to the Tomb Raider star had looted the bank.
“The resemblance was so uncanny that some witnesses actually thought it was the actress herself and that the robbery was part of a new Hollywood film, the Daily Telegraph quoted a police spokesman as saying.
“The woman had always thought that looking like Angelina Jolie was a bit of a bonus in her life because it attracted lots of men.
“Unfortunately in this particular instance it proved to be the worst possible thing for her - she was instantly recognizable,” he added. (ANI)
