London, Dec 7 (ANI): Amy Winehouse has agreed to record a song based on drugs with junkie pal Pete Doherty, according to reports.

The troubled star has reportedly said yes to record a version of his Babyshambles number I Wish.

The track is due for release next year ahead of the new Babyshambles album, say insiders.

In a reference to the way junkies smoke crack, Pete and Amy will sing Im pipin almost every night; I watch my dreams float by . . . out of sight.

It will cause a huge reaction. Its blatantly about drug taking and is about someone who wishes for a better life but takes drugs instead, News of the World quoted a source close to Pete, as saying.

Given the furore surrounding her own situation, its a stupid thing for Amy to do. This will show that she doesnt give a f*** what people think of her. Shes out to cause as much controversy as possible, the source added. (ANI)
