London, Sep 24(ANI): Troubled popstar Amy Winehouse is literally gambling her life, for reports have emerged that the singer splashes 1,000 pounds a day on heroin and crack cocaine.

The Back to Black hitmakers pals reveal that its just a matter of time before Winehouse falls seriously ill.

The claims come days after Winehouses latest pictures came out which fuelled claims of her hopeless addiction.

The pictures showed Winehouses youthful looks totally ruined with sunken cheeks, a skeletal frame, blotches and grey skin.

The singer, who omitted her own birthday party as she realised how badly drugs have ruined her looks, is stuck in her flat trawling the web looking for photos of her in happier times.

It is so, so sad to see the state shes got into. Those who see her on a daily basis are at a complete loss as to what to do, the Daily Star quoted Winehouses pal, as saying.

She is lost and bewildered and all she lives off is fizzy drinks and sweets, the pal added. (ANI)
