Ambika Soni condoles death of senior journalist Alok Tomar

Ambika Soni New Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni has condoled the death of veteran Hindi journalist Alok Tomar, who died of a heart attack at the Batra hospital here on Sunday.

In her condolence message, Ambika Soni said that she is deeply grieved and shocked at the untimely passing away of Alok Tomar.

“Alok Tomar made a mark as a journalist writing on political developments and issues of social concern. Known for his skills in three important medium of communication- Print, Television and Internet, Alok Tomar fulfilled his journalistic responsibilities in a commendable manner,” she said.

50-year-old Tomar was a senior journalist who has worked with Hindi news agency ‘Varta’, daily ‘Jansatta’ and CNBC television.

He was suffering from cancer and passed away after a heart attack at the Batra hospital here on Sunday. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. (ANI)
