Akon punches female fan at concert
September 7th, 2008 - 10:56 am ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Sept 7 (ANI): Hip-hop star Akon has sparked outrage in South America after he hit a female fan during one of his tour.
The R&B star was filmed lashing out after crowd-surfing to a podium in the middle of the arena in Guyana.
Having finally reached his destination with his jeans barely clinging to his waist Akon was greeted by a couple of sexy women dancing on the tiny stage, reports The Sun.
After grappling his way on to the platform, the singer swung his arm at one of the women, causing her to recoil in pain.
Akon is yet to comment on the incident.
In April last year, Akon caused controversy when he simulated sex with a 15-year-old girl at a club in Trinidad and Tobago. (ANI)
